Cheer in Giving, Cheer in Receiving! (Dec 20, 2008)

First of all, I'm feeling fabulous today! Finally, December vacation has officially started for me!

Secondly, it's been a day of presents! As much as I enjoy giving presents, admittedly, it's actually really fun receiving presents too! Thank you to each and every one of you who thoughtfully picked presents for me, braving the traffic and all that craziness that's Singapore getting ready for Christmas...and for keeping me in your thoughts this Christmas.

I always wanted a throw-over like this. And I finally have one!

I remember how I'd always pick one up at IKEA only to return it just before I hit the check-out counter.

Why?

Because Ken hates it. He's a hot-body. Always feeling warm and bothered in our climate. He goes to bed with the air-conditioning blasting at 18 degrees with nothing else on, let alone so much as a blanket!

I, on the other hand, will be wrapped up from my toes to my neck.

So this gift is perfect. I can see self hugging it or covering face with it when watching horror movies.

It fits perfectly on the couch. So thank you, Gifters. Love this!

Bling Alert

Only you would notice that I have been crazy about accessories lately. And only you would pick out just the right bling thing that I would wear everyday. Thank you for splurging on the these irresistibly beautiful gifts for me. Feeling really pampered now...as I always have, in your presence.

Metallic patent leather pouch from the girl who is Glamour Personified. It's heartbreaking to even contemplate using this. I really want to just keep it in my drawers together with other precious things like diamonds and jewels...

Evidently, we had attempted a game where we were supposed to get just one present for one person and we failed to such comic proportions. The idea was spawned because we thought it would be best that each of us only had to get one present. Isn't it interesting how we all ended up getting a present for everyone anyway?

How that happened, in such an un-premediated manner confounds me but it makes me smile. From ear to ear.

Aiyoh. I just love the way we are! HAHA!
