I rediscovered the treasure trove called "Far East Plaza" today.
As Elin always says, shop with the young(er) crowd from time to time and you'd be amazed what you'd actually find and end up parting with cash for.
Today's excursion to one place I hadn't gone to except when I contemplated tattoos and body art has yielded some very gratifying finds, many are little treasures tucked away in corners of bliss. Parting with cash never felt this easy.
First of all, with shops that target the young and trendy (think Harajuku), you're more likely than ever to stumble upon the Cute and Crazy here.
Shop Name / Location: Toilette Boutique / #04-18/19
Finds: Quirky dresses, overruns from Chloe, Anna Sui, Miu Miu... yes... I know...*eyes gleaming*
I also found a disco bag.
Material: Fabric with all over disco-psychedelia sequins
Comes with options for short handle or long-messenger sling.
The sky's the limit with this little number. It goes with just about anything and at worst, any accidental mismatch will come across as deliberate defiance. In style.
My verdict: A fabulous shopping enclave away from the regular bustle of Orchard Road.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes easy to disrobe from; bring a fabulous friend/kaki with a distinct eye for fashion fastforward finds and a claw for hidden treasures(see inset picture), a bottle of water, an open mind and keep tab on the cash flow. And darling you, doing anything at all has never felt this fun. We're the perfectly perverted in all the pristine possibilities in this world we call Playground.
Read Diana's post.
After all that shopping, Ken is finally a happy man when we brought him for dinner at Kuriya at Scotts.
Lurvely Day...Lurvely Day....
